The Regional Natural Reserve Directed of the Zingaro extends him, for around 1.650 hectares, in the Western part of the Gulf of Castellammare, in the peninsula of San Vito Lo Capo that leans out on the Tirreno between Castellammare of the Gulf and Trapani. Description
The Zingaro interests a coast band of around 7 Km, formed by a rocky coast of limestones of the Mesozoic, intercalated from numerous hold and characterized by leaning cliffs that from a maximum height of 913 ms (Mountain Speziale) they quickly bring to the sea.
